Todd D. Saunders - Partner


With more than twenty years of hands-on planning and development experience, Mr. Saunders has worked on some of the most significant real estate projects in California and Hawaii. He has helped lead more than $1.5B in commercial office and residential mixed-use projects and has worked with some the world's most important architectural and engineering firms. Mr. Saunders is generally recognized for his leadership skills, negotiating abilities, and sales/marketing savvy - as well as his abilities in targeting and acquiring real estate assets, negotiating project entitlements, managing projects and consultant teams, and developing and maintaining strategic relationships with partners, consultants and communities.


Prior to SSG, Mr. Saunders was a partner with Wilson Meany Sullivan (WMS) in San Francisco. While at WMS, Mr. Saunders helped lead all aspects of the planning, development and disposition process for a portfolio of real estate projects which totaled more than $1 Billion.
 
Mr. Saunders previously was Executive Vice President with Myers Development Company (MDC) in San Francisco and Honolulu where he worked for thirteen years. While at MDC, Mr. Saunders was involved in leading core development activities and was particularly focused on project identification and acquisition, planning and entitlements, as well as project marketing, sales and leasing.
 
Prior to joining MDC, Mr. Saunders was a commercial office leasing agent with Monroe & Friedlander in Honolulu, Hawaii.
