SSG Background

In 2010, Jon Eric Greene, Greg Swedelson and Todd Saunders founded SSG to capitalize on opportunities stemming from a major shift in market conditions and the significant repricing of real estate assets across virtually all product classes. From the outset, SSG was structured with the ability to make timely decisions and nimbly respond to changing market demands.

With over 50 years of development, investment and operating experience, SSG's partners established their real estate careers by focusing on projects in California and Hawaii. As a result, they have a thorough understanding and practical knowledge of these markets. The partners have earned reputations for excellence, entrepreneurial drive and the ability to anticipate and react to market demands.

They consistently worked to achieve above market returns through creative deal structuring, disciplined due diligence, and providing innovative solutions to complex and challenging deal-specific issues. Collectively, they have been involved in the purchase and sale, leasing, development and/or management of: over 16 million square feet of retail space; 4.5 million square feet of office space; 1.1 million square feet of industrial space; over 900 for-sale high-rise residential units.

This experience allowed the partners to develop comprehensive real estate expertise in the areas of: acquisition and disposition; project financing; project entitlement; design, development and construction; commercial leasing and brokerage; asset and property management; real estate law; and investment brokerage.
